Abstract:
We describe an instrument concept that will provide simultaneous spectra for a million spatial samples on the sky. With the proposed field of view and spectral resolution, it will be able to measure redshifts and line strengths for around 2-4000 z~3-7 galaxies in a 16 night campaign. The main science driver is to obtain a complete census of the star formation properties of galaxies with 2.551猎奇入口 of the q2 dependence of B鈫捪l谓 and of B鈫捪(蠅)l谓 and extraction of |Vub|

Abstract:
We report on determinations of |Vub| resulting from studies of the branching fraction and q2 distributions in exclusive semileptonic B decays that proceed via the b鈫抲 transition. Our data set consists of the 9.7脳106 BB虅 meson pairs collected at the Y(4S) resonance with the CLEO II detector. We measure B(B0鈫捪 -鈩+谓)=(1.33卤0.18卤0.11卤 0.01卤0.07)脳10-4 and B(B0鈫捪 -鈩+谓)=(2.17卤0.34-0.54+0.47卤0.41 卤0.01)脳10-4, where the errors are statistical, experimental systematic, systematic due to residual form-factor uncertainties in the signal, and systematic due to residual form-factor uncertainties in the cross-feed modes, respectively. We also find B(B+鈫捨封創+谓)=(0.84卤0.31卤 0.16卤0.09)脳10-4, consistent with what is expected from the B鈫捪鈩撐 mode and quark model symmetries.
