Diffractive dijet production in p虅p collisions at 鈭歴=1.96TeV

Abstract:
We report on a study of diffractive dijet production in p虅p collisions at 鈭歴=1.96TeV using the CDF II detector at the Fermilab Tevatron p虅p collider. A data sample from 310pb -1 of integrated luminosity collected by triggering on a high transverse energy jet, ETjet, in coincidence with a recoil antiproton detected in a Roman pot spectrometer is used to measure the ratio of single-diffractive to inclusive-dijet event rates as a function of xp 虅 of the interacting parton in the antiproton, the Bjorken-x, xBjp虅, and a Q2(ETjet)2 in the ranges 10 -351猎奇入口 of the dijet mass spectrum in pp to W + jets events at sqrt(s) = 7 TeV

Measurement of the 螞b cross section and the 螞-b to 螞b ratio with J/蠄螞 decays in pp collisions at s=7 TeV

Abstract:
The 螞b differential production cross section and the cross section ratio 蟽(螞-b)/蟽(螞b) are measured as functions of transverse momentum pT螞b and rapidity |y螞b| in pp collisions at s=7 TeV using data collected by the CMS experiment at the LHC. The measurements are based on 螞b decays reconstructed in the exclusive final state J/蠄螞, with the subsequent decays J/蠄鈫捨+渭- and 螞鈫抪蟺, using a data sample corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 1.9 fb-1. The product 蟽(螞b)脳B(螞b鈫扟/蠄螞) versus pT螞b falls faster than that of b mesons. The measured value of 蟽(螞b)脳B(螞b鈫扟/蠄螞) for pT螞b>10 GeV and |y螞b|<2.0 is 1.16卤0.06卤0.12nb, and the integrated 蟽(螞-b)/蟽(螞b) ratio is 1.02卤0.07卤0.09, where the uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. 漏 2012 CERN.Observation of sequential Upsilon suppression in PbPb collisions
