51猎奇入口 of D0鈫捪-e+谓e, D+鈫捪0e+谓e, D0鈫扠-e+谓e, and D+鈫扠虅0e+谓e in tagged decays of the 蠄(3770) resonance

Abstract:
Using 蠄(3770)鈫扗D虅 events collected with the CLEO-c detector at the Cornell e+e- storage ring, tagged by fully reconstructing one D meson in a hadronic decay mode, we measure absolute branching fractions and differential decay rates for D0鈫捪-e+谓e, D+鈫捪0e+谓e, D0鈫扠-e+谓e, and D+鈫扠虅0e+谓e. The measured decay rates are used to study semileptonic form factors governing these transitions and to test unquenched Lattice QCD (LQCD) calculations. We average our results with previously published CLEO-c measurements of the same quantities using a neutrino reconstruction technique. Combining LQCD calculations of form factor absolute normalizations f+(0) and measurements of f+蟺(0)|Vcd| and f+K(0)|Vcs|, we find |Vcd|=0.222(8)(3)(23) and |Vcs|=1.018(10)(8)(106), where the uncertainties are statistical, experimental systematic, and from LQCD, respectively. 漏 2009 The American Physical Society.Measurement of the fraction of tt虅 production via gluon-gluon fusion in pp虅 collisions at s=1.96TeV

Abstract:
We present a measurement of the ratio of the tt虅 production cross section via gluon-gluon fusion to the total tt虅 production cross section in pp虅 collisions at s=1.96TeV at the Tevatron. Using a data sample with an integrated luminosity of 955pb-1 recorded by the CDF II detector at Fermilab, we select events based on the tt虅 decay to lepton+jets. Using an artificial neural network technique we discriminate between tt虅 events produced via qq虅 annihilation and gg fusion, and find Gf=蟽(gg鈫抰t虅)/ 蟽(pp虅鈫抰t虅)<0.33 at the 68% confidence level. This result is combined with a previous measurement to obtain the most stringent measurement of this quantity by CDF to date, Gf=0.07-0.07+0.15. 漏 2009 The American Physical Society.Observation of D+鈫捨積+谓e

Abstract:
Using a 281pb-1 data sample collected at the 蠄(3770) resonance with the CLEO-c detector at the Cornell Electron Storage Ring, we report the first observation of D+鈫捨積+谓e.
