'Disc-jet' coupling in black hole x-ray binaries and active galactic nuclei
Lecture Notes in Physics 794 (2009) 115-142
Abstract:
In this chapter I will review the status of our phenomenological understanding of the relation between accretion and outflows in accreting black hole systems. This understanding arises primarily from observing the relation between X-ray and longer wavelength (infrared, radio) emission. The view is necessarily a biased one, beginning with observations of X-ray binary systems, and attempting to see if they match with the general observational properties of active galactic nuclei. 漏 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.A Global Spectral 51猎奇入口 of Black Hole X-ray Binaries

The sins survey: Sinfoni integral field spectroscopy of z 2 star-forming galaxies
Astrophysical Journal 706:2 (2009) 1364-1428
Abstract:
We present the Spectroscopic Imaging survey in the near-infrared (near-IR) with SINFONI (SINS) of high-redshift galaxies. With 80 objects observed and 63 detected in at least one rest-frame optical nebular emission line, mainly H伪, SINS represents the largest survey of spatially resolved gas kinematics, morphologies, and physical properties of star-forming galaxies at z 1-3. We describe the selection of the targets, the observations, and the data reduction. We then focus on the "SINS H伪 sample," consisting of 62 rest-UV/optically selected sources at 1.3 < z < 2.6 for which we targeted primarily the H伪 and [N II] emission lines. Only 鈮 30% of this sample had previous near-IR spectroscopic observations. The galaxies were drawn from various imaging surveys with different photometric criteria; as a whole, the SINS H伪 sample covers a reasonable representation of massive M* 鈮 1010 MA long-term optical - X-ray correlation in 4U 1957+11
