Search for scalar neutrino superpartners in e+渭 final states in pp虅 collisions at s=1.96TeV

Abstract:
We report a search for R-parity-violating production and decay of sneutrino particles in the e渭 final state with 1.04卤0.06fb-1 of data collected with the D0 detector at the Fermilab Tevatron Collider in 2002-2006. Good agreement between the data and the standard model prediction is observed. With no evidence for new physics, we set limits on the R-parity-violating couplings 位311鈥 and 位312 as a function of the sneutrino mass. 漏 2008 The American Physical Society.Measurement of Neutrino Oscillations with the MINOS Detectors in the NuMI Beam

Search for resonant tt虅 production in pp虅 collisions at s=1.96TeV

Abstract:
We report on a search for narrow-width particles decaying to a top and antitop quark pair. The data set used in the analysis corresponds to an integrated luminosity of 680pb-1 collected with the Collider Detector at Fermilab in run II. We present 95% confidence level upper limits on the cross section times branching ratio. Assuming a specific top-color-assisted technicolor production model, the leptophobic Z鈥 with width 螕Z鈥=0.012MZ鈥, we exclude the mass range MZ鈥<725GeV/c2 at the 95% confidence level. 漏 2008 The American Physical Society.First run II measurement of the W boson mass at the Fermilab Tevatron

Abstract:
We describe a measurement of the W boson mass mW using 200pb-1 of s=1.96TeV pp虅 collision data taken with the CDF II detector. With a sample of 63964 W鈫抏谓 candidates and 51128 W鈫捨嘉 candidates, we measure mW=[80.413卤0.034(stat)卤0.034(sys)=80.413卤0.048]GeV/c2. This is the single most precise mW measurement to date. When combined with other measured electroweak parameters, this result further constrains the properties of new unobserved particles coupling to W and Z bosons. 漏 2008 The American Physical Society.First observation of coherent 蟺0 production in neutrino鈥搉ucleus interactions with E谓<2 GeV
