In my research, I confront various problems in theoretical particle physics and astrophysics, investigating previously unexplored solutions and analyzing possible ways to probe them experimentally. In particular, I develop field-theoretic descriptions of BSM physics, design novel detection concepts for new particles, and use astrophysical observations and experimental results to derive quantitative constraints.

Recently, I have been working on the theory and phenomenology of axions and other light dark matter candidates. Together with my collaborators, we proposed new experiments that can probe axions and heavy magnetic monopoles. My recent research in astroparticle physics has revolved around the interplay between the physics of stellar objects and well-motivated beyond-the-Standard-model extensions of particle physics.
