I am a postdoctoral research assistant at the University of Oxford, working with Prof. Matt Jarvis. My focus is on data processing for the MIGHTEE survey.
My research interest is understanding the role of gas and magnetic fields in the evolution of galaxies, using radio telescopes. I use deep radio surveys with MeerKAT and the VLA, combined with statistical methods to investigate the geometry of magnetic fields in faint galaxies. I am also interested in dynamical effects of galaxy environments, particularly how this influences their gas supply and subsequent evolution.
I obtained my PhD from the Max Planck Institute for Radio Astronomy in 2026. Prior to that, I obtained my MSc from the University of Pretoria (2021) and my BSc from the University of Cape Town (2019)
