Distributed Quantum Error Correction
I am currently pursuing a Master鈥檚 degree in Quantum Science and Engineering at EPFL (Lausanne, Switzerland), with a six-month research stay at the University of Oxford to complete my master鈥檚 thesis. My work focuses on distributed quantum error correction in color codes, exploring how quantum information can be protected in a multi-QPU architectures.
Previously, I was an intern at the European Space Agency鈥檚 Advanced Concepts Team, where I developed and simulated protocols for distributed quantum sensing networks for space missions, enabling ultra-precise measurements beyond the standard quantum limit. During my master鈥檚 studies, I worked in the EPFL's Laboratory of Theoretical Physics of Nanosystems under Prof. Vincenzo Savona, where I devised techniques for estimating the Liouvillian gap in high-dimensional dissipative systems. I also contributed to research in the SMILS group led by Prof. Nicolas Macris, designing cat state-based quantum circuits that helped in proving conjectures in quantum computing complexity.
