Abstract:

The branching fraction of the 蟿-鈫3h-2h+谓蟿 decay (h=蟺,K) is measured with the BABAR detector to be (8.56卤0.05卤0.42) 脳10-4, where the first error is statistical and the second systematic. The observed structure of this decay is significantly different from the phase space prediction, with the 蟻 resonance playing a strong role. The decay 蟿-鈫抐1(1285)蟺-谓蟿, with the f1(1285) meson decaying to four charged pions, is observed and the branching fraction is measured to be (3.9卤0.7卤0.5)脳10-4. 漏 2005 The American Physical Society.

Abstract:

We present a Dalitz-plot analysis of charmless B卤 decays to the final state 蟺卤蟺卤蟺 using 210fb-1 of data recorded by the BABAR experiment at s=10.58GeV. We measure the branching fractions B(B卤鈫捪卤蟺卤蟺)=(16.2卤1.2卤0.9) 脳10-6 and B(B卤鈫捪0(770)蟺卤)=(8.8卤1. 0卤0.6-0.7+0.1)脳10-6. Measurements of branching fractions for the quasi-two-body decays B卤鈫捪0(1450)蟺卤, B卤鈫抐0(980)蟺卤 and B卤鈫抐2(1270)蟺卤 are also presented. We observe no charge asymmetries for the above modes, and there is no evidence for the decays B卤鈫捪嘽0蟺卤, B卤鈫抐0(1370)蟺卤 and B卤鈫捪兿卤. 漏 2005 The American Physical Society.

Abstract:

A Dalitz plot analysis of approximately 12500 D0 events reconstructed in the hadronic decay D0鈫扠虅0K+K- is presented. This analysis is based on a data sample of 91.5fb-1 collected with the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy e+e- storage rings at SLAC running at center-of-mass energies on and 40 MeV below the 违(4S) resonance. The events are selected from e+e-鈫抍c虅 annihilations using the decay D*+鈫扗0蟺+. The following ratio of branching fractions has been obtained: BR= 螕(D0鈫扠虅0K+K-)螕(D0鈫扠虅0蟺+蟺-)=(15.8卤0. 1(stat.)卤0.5(syst.))脳10-2. Estimates of fractions and phases for resonant and nonresonant contributions to the Dalitz plot are also presented. The a0(980)鈫扠虅K projection has been extracted with little background. A search for CP asymmetries on the Dalitz plot has been performed. 漏 2005 The American Physical Society.

Abstract:

With a sample of 232脳106 违(4S)鈫払B虅 events collected with the BABAR detector, we study the decay B+鈫抪p虅K+ excluding charmonium decays to pp虅. We measure a branching fraction B(B+鈫抪p虅K+)=(6.7卤0.5卤0.4)脳10-6. An enhancement at low pp虅 mass is observed and the Dalitz plot asymmetry suggests dominance of the penguin amplitude in this B decay. We search for a pentaquark candidate 螛*++ decaying into pK+ in the mass range 1.43 to 2.00GeV/c2 and set limits on B(B+鈫捨*++p虅)脳B(螛*++鈫抪K+) at the 10-7 level. 漏 2005 The American Physical Society.
